Yichun Location in China
Yichun
Yichun is a prefecture-level city located in northeastern Heilongjiang Province, China. It adjoins the provincial capital city of Harbin to the south, Hegang to the east, and Suining to the west, and shares a 2,495-km-long boundary with Russia in the north. Named after the Yichun River, Yichun city has a long history which can be traced back to the Shang Dynasty.

Climate in Yichun
Yichun has a cold temperate continental monsoon climate and is characterized by clear distinctions among the four seasons. As one of the coldest cities in China, the annual average temperature is around 33.8 F (1 C). It is an ideal summer resort.
Transportation of Yichun
By Train
Yichun Railway Station connects Yichun with many major cities in China such as Beijing, Harbin, Tianjin, Dalian and with cities around such as Jiamusi, Dailing, and Tieli. It even runs trains to reach scenic areas.
By Bus
The Yichun-Hegang Highway and the Yichun-Mengying Road connect Yichun city with many other cities in Heilongjiang Province, such as Harbin, Daqing, Hegang, Meixi, and Hongxing.
What to see in Yichun
Wuying National Forest Park: It is a natural oxygen bar in Wuying District. Visitors are provided with high qualified condition for sightseeing and relaxation.
Jiayin Dinosaur National Geo-park: This is the place where China's first dinosaur fossils was discovered. The park is a valuable place to learn changes of our planet and the extinction of large reptiles in the late Cretaceous.
Maolangou Scenic Area: Located in Jiayin County, it is a place with grand and charming landscape of stone forest groups.
Other major scenic spots: Taoshan Skiing Resort & Hunting Field, Fengying Natural Forest Reserve, Jinshantun Dafeng River Drifting, Liangshui Nature Reserve, Meixi Huilongwan Mountain Villa, etc.
