5 Days Shanghai Expo Tour with Suzhou (CTM-SHT-05S)

Day 1

Upon your arrival at Shanghai - China's largest commercial and financial center. Your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free rest to recover from jetlag or to explore the neighborhood as you wish.

Day 2

Pick up from your hotel, and then head to People's Square to visit Shanghai Museum, Which is the city's largest museum and displays a variety of Eastern and Western artifacts. Then walk to the Nanjing Road regarded as the first commercial street in Shanghai. Wander from the eastern end of Nanjing Road to the Bund, symbols of Shanghai surrounded by about 50 various buildings of different architectural styles. After lunch, continue to visit Yu Yuan Garden, the most famous garden in Shanghai. Then enjoy a bird's eye view of Shanghai city from the 88-storey Observation Deck of Jinmao Tower.

Day 3

One day exploration of the Shanghai World Expo 2010 on your own. We provide the Expo ticket and Hotel-Expo transfer service.

Day 4

In the morning we'll l pick you up at your hotel about 08:00am and then drive to Suzhou (about 1.5hours). Firstly marvel at the majestic 12th century Master-of-Nets Garden. You will surely be surprised how the acreage is used and this shows a characteristic of Chinese garden: acreage is of little importance. The large buildings are delicately positioned in the limited area. This little gem is the model for most gardens throughout the world, as well as at the Tiger Hill park. Move on to the ancient city water gate, the Panmen Gate to explore the Old City of Suzhou. After a visit to the Silk Factory No. 1 at the "Hometown of Chinese Silk" you'll drive back to Shanghai.

Day 5

Today you are free untill you are escorted to Shanghai airports for your flight to your next destination.
