Detailed Map of the Summer Palace

 

The map below clearly shows the layout of the Summer Palace, the imperial garden in Beijing in the Ming and Qing dynasties. It covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers, three quarters of which is water. From this map we can see that the Summer Palace is mainly dominated by the Longevity Hill and the Kunming Lake.
