The Temple of Heaven is located in southeastern urban Beijing, in Xuanwu District (see map below). Famous tourist attractions nearby include Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Liulichang Antiques Street, Panjiayuan Market, Ming City Wall Site and Ancient Architecture Museum.
