Li River Maps

Originating from Maoer Shan (Cat Mountain) in Xing'an county, north of Guilin, the Li River winds its way south for about 437 km, passing through Guilin, Yangshuo, Pingle and Zhaoping, and finally meets the Xi River at Wuzhou. The 83-kilometers-long waterway from Guilin to Yangshuo is like an artist's masterpiece with the landscape decorated with startling hills, steep cliffs, and fantastic caves and farming villages. So, the Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo is the centerpiece of any trip to Guilin or even China. The cruise trip starts from the dock south of Liberation Bridge in Guilin downtown area, divided into several sections just like the Three Gorges along the Yangtze River. Tourists can enjoy the gorgeous sceneries along the trip including Elephant-Trunk Hill, Rooster Fighting Hill, Pagoda Hill, Forest of Odd Shaped Peaks, Daxu Ancient Town, and Ox Gorge.
