Hong Kong Tramways is one of the three tramways in the world that have regular operation of double-decker trams, and is the only system that runs exclusively on double-deckers. Hong Kong Tramways operates 6 main routes running between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan everyday from 6:00 to 24:00. There is a tramcar departure in every 1.5 minutes during peak hours on average, and it serves to provide a convenient and safe waiting environment for passengers. You can find a stop within about 250 meters.

Ticket Fare:

Tram is the most economic and costless mode of transportation in Hong Kong. A single adult is charged for HK?2.00 regardless of distance and riding time. Senior citizens and children can enjoy a lower fare at HK?1.00. Every tram currently has been equipped with an Octopus reader located at the front exit of the tram. Monthly ticket is also available and being sold at Hong Kong Tramways – Whitty Street tram depot, Causeway Bay and North Point Terminus.
