Shaoshan City, located in the central part of Hunan Province, is the hometown of Great Man – Chair Mao, and becomes one of the most important national scenic destinations of China. It belongs to the famous city of Hunan, Xiangtan City, about one hour by bus away from Xiangtan. It is a must to visit Shaoshan Scenic Area while traveling Hunan Xiangtan, where tourists can admire the Mao Zedong's Former Residence and the Water-dripping Cave.
