Xian Travel Maps
Xian, once known as Chang'an in the prosperous Tang dynasty, is the present capital of the northwestern China's Shaanxi province. Xian is a living history book recording the great changes of China, as it was the eastern terminus of the Silk Road and between 1000 BC and 1000 AD it served as the imperial capital for eleven dynasties. It is no wonder that Xian, with such a long, has so many historical ruins and cultural relics. The most magnificent one is the Terracotta Army of the Qin Dynasty. This is the reason to tour Xian. Besides, Dumpling Banquet and Noodles in Xian enjoy a very high reputation in China.
