Shanghai Bund Maps

The Bund, also called the Zhongshan Dong Yi Lu, is a famous waterfront and is one of the most recognized architectural symbols of Shanghai, located at the west shore of the Huangpu River. It used to be the epitome of elegance during Shanghai's history as a city of trade, while presently many attractive new constructions have been erected in addition to the historical buildings. It begins from the Baidu Bridge, which connects the Huangpu River and the Suzhou Creek, to the East Jingling Road and winds a 1500 meters length.

Walking along the Shanghai Bund, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower can be seen on the opposite side and also the Jin Mao Tower. As one of the Top 10 Shanghai tourist attractions, the Bund of Shanghai is a really beautiful and gorgeous place worth visiting. You can enjoy the newly-built Flood Control Bank; the Square with the status of Marshal Chen Yi; the Cenotaph which stands on the man-made island and is a monument of people's heroes; the riverside greenbelt, the Electronic Waterfall Bell, and the Great Mural Carving. All of them are the preventatives of the Shanghai Bund.
