Shanghai Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, called the Shanghai's Venice and located in a suburb of Shanghai City, is well-known throughout the county with a history of more than 1700 years. The beautiful fan-shaped town glimmers like a bright pearl in the landscape of lakes and mountains, endowed with comfortable living atmosphere and gorgeous natural beauty for the ones who wants to escape the bustle and hustle of the modern city and seeks for the antiquity, leisure and tranquility.

The tourist attractions include the Bridges in the town which are distinctive and old built during Ming and Qing Dynasties, such as the Fangsheng Bridge, the longest, largest and tallest stone bridge, and the Lang Bridge, the only wooden bridge and the most featured span in this town. The Ancient Street (North Street) is attracting great numbers of domestic and foreign tourists with its representative ancient buildings. Ke Zhi Yuan, also called the Course Plant Garden, is located in Xijin Street in the northern part of town, and is the largest garden in Zhujiajiao.
