Mountain Emei Scenic Area Maps

Mount Emei is within the boundaries of Emeishan City, some 140 kilometers to the southwest of Chengdu and 33 kilometers to the east of Leshan. The mountain has four peaks, rising one higher than the next to unfold into a vast and verdant scene, with Golden Peak as the main one, giving rise to the claim that "Emei's beauty is the finest under heaven". Here, there are four scenic areas: Baoguo Temple, Wannian Temple, Qingyin Pavillion and Golden Summit. In 1996, Mt. Emei was listed in the world natural and cultural heritage by the UNESCO. Here, you can enjoy the florid natural scenery, profound Buddhist culture, and abundant resources of species.
